Andy du Feu main speaker at CEVMA 2019
Andy is Vice-Principal (Academic) at Moorlands Bible College in the UK and Director of Youth and Community Work, taking on course leadership of the undergraduate programmes. Prior to working at Moorlands College, Andy served for 7 years as pastor of a non-denominational church in Oxfordshire. Alongside pastoral responsibilities, he invested in the youth work, and saw significant growth and fruit, including several young people going on to theological training.
Andy grew up in Rugby but spent the best part of 3 years working with children and teens in the USA with UrbanPromise, before studying at Moorlands College. He has worked in both church and local authority youth work contexts, and has contributed to local youth work networks, and more significantly, helped set up and develop the UK Christian Youth Work Consortium.
Andy’s current area of research is a synthesis of his MA research in Christian Leadership, in which he considered contemporary business orientations in church leadership settings, and his teaching at Masters level on digital theology and communication. The intent is to pursue a PhD that considers the digital footprint of Christian leaders, and related areas concerning digital literacy and authority.
